This policy covers Rookaroo, a chess-learning app for children made by Evergrow Studios ("we"). We built it so that it collects nothing about the people who use it.
What we collect
Nothing. Rookaroo has no accounts, no sign-in, no email and no names sent anywhere. It doesn't use advertising, analytics or tracking of any kind.
What stays on your device
- The player pictures and optional nicknames you choose.
- Lesson progress, stickers, trophies and settings.
These are saved only on the device. They're never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases
The one-time "Full adventure" unlock is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store handles the payment; we never see your payment details. Rookaroo asks the store only whether the unlock has been bought on your account, so that it can open the chapters and restore them on your other devices.
Children
Rookaroo is designed for children aged 5 to 12. We don't knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, children included. Purchases and the grown-ups' settings sit behind a parental gate.
Third parties
Rookaroo contains no third-party advertising or analytics software. Links to this policy, the support page and email support are behind the parental gate.
This website
This website has no cookies, analytics or advertising, and loads nothing from other companies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security, and we don't use them to identify anyone.
Contacting us
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply, and we don't share them. Ask us at any time to delete our correspondence with you.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
